This is a condensed list of things you could live without, but probably wouldn't want to.

 

1.  beautiful cars.  Not that I have one or ever expect to have one, but it's one of those things that just makes your day.  Unless there's a smackhead driving it.

 

2.  fancy kitchen utensils.  I don't cook, or bake.  I usually confine myself to the microwave dinners and sandwiches.  All the same I recognise the emotional import of espresso makers, and baking pans and cooking spoons and whirring machines.  Without them a house is not a home.

 

3.  lavender.  I've developed a new appreciation for lavender - the colour, the scent, and the plant.  It's perfect for every situation, except, ironically, beautiful cars and kitchen utensils.

 

4.  Man Utd dropping 3 points.   :-D    yaaaaaay!

Right now I'm stumped by many many things.  Like when the batteries say they'll explode if recharged, is it true?  How long would it take?  and how far away should I stand when I try it?

 

That got me thinking about other things that don't make sense in my head.  Like grey underwear.  Why do they exist?  I've  heard more than once that 'chicks dig grey', what on earth for?  I have grey unders and I only ever wear them on bleak, miserable, decidedly unsexy days - not sure if this is a cause or affect.

 

And why doesn't Fletcher put in Panesar!?   why why why.  I said from day one that Cook and Monty would be pivotal to this series, Cook's come good but Panesar isn't getting his chance; put him in and he'll bowl the bells off the bloated aussies.  I don't care about winning or keeping the Ashes, I just don't want to hear Warne gloating.
