    Take Me To My Tailor

When Charlie Croker uttered those immortal words modern culture changed forever.  Possibly the greatest film quote of all time.

With my cousin's upcoming wedding I'm in desperate need of new threads and must make a trip up to Macy's in the next month or so to see what I can find.  Also need new shoes, and new shirts come to think of it.

So far it looks as if the kit will be arranged as such:
    Suit - Macy's
    Shirt - Prowse & Hargood
    Shoes - Sandro Moscoloni

Time is tight and there are several other purchases I'm needing to make between now and then.
Would have been nice if the wedding was a few months further down the road - of course nobody ever consults me on these matters.

    That Good Ol' Sinking Feeling

What a tense match it'll be this weekend, eh?  United v Sunderland - who do I want to lose more?  If Sunderland don't win they're relegated for sure, but if United win they'll be a little closer to challenging Chelski ...and I'd rather they weren't even close.

In other relegation news: looks like the scabby chavies are going down, one way or another.  Even if they manage the points necessary to stay up, and they won't, their trouble with finances could see them automatically dropped.  Denny Ingram, you sad little man.

    as the weeks wind down

Things are starting to come together.  Very hectic at the moment what with the Memorial, assembly, parents visiting, C.O.'s visit, moving house and overtime at work.  Hopefully my good fortune will hang on long enough to get settled again.  Especially thinking about my car which shakes like a heroin addict.  Poor thing.

Have taken measures to keep things simple.  Namely the launch of Lucas Stout has been post-poned indefinetely - though hardly abandoned altogether.  I'll have a much better idea of what the long-term holds about the time of the convention in July.  No rush, I'll play it safe and spend the next few months sorting myself out.

Promotion for Halifax in May, a world cup for England in July and keeping the Ashes come August would help things along nicely. ;)

Down and Out for the Count

Ugh, I feel awful.  I can speak fine but I've got that lingering pin-prick feeling at the back of my throat and I'm completely exhausted.  I think I could struggle through my talk - but it's probably best if I give myself a chance to rest up, and not spread this virus around.  (How thoughtful of me)
